Functionality: Everything within easy reach

The convenient storage compartment at the back of the Piaggio Liberty 50's shield is divided into two halves and provides the option of installing a USB plug so you can charge your phone while on the move. Another big compartment under the seat, which you can open with the easy touch of a button on the handlebar, can contain a full-face helmet, while the bag hook is ideal for transferring bags and shopping.

Design: Distinctive style

The instrument cluster's beautiful design perfectly blends analogue and digital technology. A modern LCD display stands alongside the classic gauge with an arrow, which can be seen by pressing a button on the right hand of the handlebar. The large front shield provides additional rain protection and serves as the ideal backdrop for the Piaggio vertical design, which has stood the test of time.

Safety: Almost a maxi beneath the plastic

The Piaggio Liberty 50's main frame is a robust single cradle made of steel tubing with pressed steel plates for added driving stability. A telescopic hydraulic fork up front and a strong hydraulic rear shock absorber provide suspension.

The baby of the family

The Piaggio Liberty 50 is the entry-level model in the Liberty line, which also includes models with 125 and 150cc engines. It has long been known and adored for its elegance, lightness, and riding ease, and is also available in a sportier variant, the S. It has a single cylinder 50cc engine with i-get (Italian Green Experience Technology) and a three-valve timing system that provides excellent performance and dependability while consuming less fuel.
The body and finishes have also been given meticulous attention to provide optimum safety and the best possible driving experience, with the wide wheels (14" in the back and 16" up front) delivering better precision and manoeuvrability. Last but not least, there are the practical features, such as the large under-seat compartment that can accommodate a full-face helmet, the storage box hidden behind the shield, and the instrument cluster, which cleverly combines analogue and digital elements to ensure maximum visibility regardless of lighting conditions.
